Abstract
⺠Method to study high temperature deformation of metallic alloys from the relaxation process of the tri-axial and spatial residual stress state. ⺠Assessment of the method using measurement conducted by synchrotron radiation diffraction on cylindrical samples quenched from high temperature. ⺠The method extends the present capability of uni-axial creep tests, and deepens the possible influence of microstructural gradients.
