Abstract
⺠Isothermal sections of the Cr-Al-Nb phase diagram at 1150, 1300, and 1450 °C. ⺠Extended phase fields of cubic C15 and hexagonal C14 Laves phase Nb(Cr,Al)2. ⺠C14 Nb(Cr,Al)2 is the only ternary intermetallic phase. ⺠Small C15 + C14 two-phase field shifts to lower Al content with increasing temperature. ⺠Laves phase has a structure-type-independent volume per atom.
