Abstract
► Y3Al5−xSixO12−xNx:Ce3+ phosphor was synthesized by a gas-pressure sintering process. ► The effect of Si4+N3− incorporation on optical properties of YAG:Ce was investigated. ► The addition of Si3N4 leads to an obvious redshift of the emission spectra. ► Adding nanosized Si3N4 or flux can greatly improve the emission intensity of phosphor. ► The white LED lamp with an excellent CRI is realized by a single oxynitride phosphor.
