Abstract
⺠Vitreous systems based on antimony oxide Sb2O3 have been investigated. ⺠Influence of the MnO substitution on the mechanical properties has been studied. ⺠Residual surface impression is observed after the indentor withdrawal. ⺠Infrared and UV transmission spectrum depend on MnO concentration. ⺠Interest of MnO leads to optimized glasses for various applications.
