Abstract
⺠We develop a metallic glassy system with a critical size of about 35 mm. ⺠We examine high glass forming ability of this alloy system. ⺠The high glass forming ability is mainly due to the decrease of the melting point and liquidus temperature. ⺠Suppression of the formation of crystalline phases occur during solidification from liquid state. ⺠Crystallization of the alloy system is examined and the correlation of the structural difference with GFA is discussed.
