Abstract
⺠Nanostructured thin films of CuxS were prepared onto glass substrates by the CBD technique in an aqueous medium. ⺠The X-ray diffraction study reveals that depending on thickness, the hexagonal Covellite phase of CuS observed at thickness 70 nm gets converted to monoclinic Chalcosite phase of Cu2S at higher thickness. ⺠The resistivity, activation energy, band-gap energy, carrier concentration and mobility of CuxS thin films were found thickness dependent.
