Abstract
⺠We presented the growth process of high quality Nd3+:Ca3Gd2(BO3)4 single crystal. ⺠The spectroscopy analysis was done along different axes. ⺠The laser output power at 1062 nm was obtained to be 62 mJ. ⺠The low efficiency was ascribed to the influence of phonon energy.
