Abstract
► We investigate the effect of TMs addition on the aging behavior of Al-Mg2Si alloy. ► TM addition results in the formation of the dispersoids and the change of the precipitates. ► The Al(TM)Si dispersoid is formed easier in Cr-, Mn- and Fe-addition alloys than in Co- and Ni-addition alloys. ► The precipitation sequence of TM-addition alloys is shifted to more stable phases than that of the base alloy.
