Abstract
⺠LTTSm glasses exhibits intense reddish-orange emission under 477 nm excitation. ⺠Concentration quenching is observed beyond 1.0 mol% of Sm3+ ion concentration. ⺠Decay curves of 4G5/2 state exhibits single exponential nature in all the glasses.
