Abstract
ⶠBaTiO3 usually crystallizes in the tetragonal system, but in the present case, pristine and Nd-doped BaTiO3 could be stabilized in the cubic system by employing innovative methods of materials synthesis. ⶠFor the first time enthalpy increments of BaTiO3 and Ba0.9Nd0.1TiO3 having cubic crystal structures have been measured in the temperature ranges 573-1523 K by inverse drop calorimetry. ⶠThe thermodynamic functions of the cubic phases are reported for the first time.
