Abstract
▶ A study of the temperature dependence of the dielectric permittivity of TlInS2 showed that this compound is extrinsic ferroelectric (Tc ≈ 202.4 K) with intermediate incommensurable phase (Ti ≈ 206.3 K). ▶ The analysis of publications, carried out by us, of the magnetic properties of TlFeS2 and TlFeSe2, revealed, that these compounds are quasi-one-dimensional antiferromagnets, whose magnetic structure becomes one-dimensional under ∼196 K and ∼290 K respectively. ▶ Using the DTA method the regions of the homogeneous and heterogeneous co-existence of electrical and magnetic orderings in the systems TlInS2-TlFeS2, TlInS2-TlFeSe2 are determined.
