Abstract
ⶠLanthanide ion doped one-dimensional YVO4 nanocrystals are prepared. ⶠThe Eu3+:YVO4 nanoparticles exhibit the morphology-dependent luminescence. ⶠThe Ln3+:YVO4 nanorods show multicolor tunable luminescence under UV excitation. ⶠMechanisms for the YVO4 sensitizing or quenching of Ln3+ emissions are proposed.
