Abstract
â¶ The influence of silver and niobium on magnetic and electrical properties as well as plasticity of different type of amorphous alloys were investigated. â¶ The conditions of thermal treatment leading to the enhancement of magnetic permeability were determined. â¶ The observed enhancement of magnetic properties is due to annealing out of free volumes, a reduction of magnetoelastic energy and an increase of magnetization. â¶ Diffusion parameters of the first stage of crystallization process were determined.
