Abstract
⺠The influence of Eu doping on structural and magneto-electrical properties of LaCaMnO compounds are presented. ⺠An increase in magnetoresistance (MR) and resistivity while a decrease of the metal-insulator transition temperature are revealed. ⺠The electrical conduction mechanism at low temperatures (T < Tp) can be explained by a theory based on Kondo-like spin dependent scattering, electron-electron, electron-phonon and electron-magnon scattering.
