Abstract
SrFe12O19 nanoparticles are adsorbed alongside the CNTs via in situ sol-gel method. The crystal structure and morphology of the as-synthesized sample are characterized by X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM). The results shown that a large number of the high purity SrFe12O19 nanocrystallites are decorated on the sidewalls of the CNTs, and these nanocrystallites aggregated around the CNTs templates form compact cladding. The probable formation mechanism of the nanocomposites is also investigated based on the experimental results.
