Abstract
A four-step approach to fabricate the multicomponent bulk-metallic glasses is presented: (1) deep eutectics, (2) mutual solubility, (3) atomic-size- and thermodynamic effects, and (4) micro-alloying. Based on this alloying strategy, a detailed route to fabricate Ni-based bulk-metallic glasses is outlined.
