Abstract
The composition dependence of the physical and magnetic properties of Li0.3Zn0.4−xCaxFe2.3O4 ferrites (x = 0.0, 0.02, 0.05, 0.075 and 0.1) has been studied. It is found that the saturation magnetization reaches a maximum value at x = 0.05 while the initial permeability decreases with increasing x. On the other hand, the lattice parameter, the porosity, the Curie temperature, the coercivity, the squareness and the dc electrical resistivity all are increased with increasing x.
