Abstract
ⶠA Ni-Fe bioxide composite nanoparticles were prepared using heat treatment in FeCl2 solution. ⶠThe precursor and as-prepared were characterized TEM, XRD, EDX, XPS and VSM. ⶠExperimental results showed that the precursor consisting of a mixture of FeOOH and Ni(OH)2 was transformed into Ni2O3-Fe2O3 composite nanoparticles of about 10 nm diameter. ⶠThe chemically induced transition in FeCl2 solution can be part of a new route for the preparation of composite or single phase oxide nanoparticels.
