Abstract
The structure of PFN ceramics examined by X-ray diffraction was found to be perovskite-like. Microstructural examinations, the electric conductivity and tests of the ferroelectric and magnetic properties were performed. The magnetic susceptibility measurements have shown that the samples show an antiferromagnetic transition at high temperature (TN1) and it is followed by an antiferromagnetic like transition at low temperature (TN2). It has been shown that in the technological process used the optimum compacting conditions are revealed by the ceramics sintered at 1050 °C for 2 h.
