Abstract
â¶ Porous Au of sub-micron size obtained by de-alloying of a glassy alloy. â¶ Role of the critical potential and surface roughness in de-alloying. â¶ Porous Fe by selective removal of a phase from rapidly solidified Fe-C eutectics. â¶ Pore size can be tailored by controlling the grain size.
