Abstract
ⶠGd-Hf-Co-Al phase separated metallic glasses with rapid quenching of the melt. ⶠWe investigate the microstructure evolution of Gd-Hf-Co-Al glasses as a function of composition and cooling rate. ⶠThe microstructure of the phase separated metallic glasses is determined not only by alloy composition, the critical temperature and the shape of miscibility gap but also by the viscosity, difficulties and the cooling rate of the melt.
