Abstract
⺠In this work, we investigate the effect of plastic deformation on the oxidation morphology of Zr47.9Ti0.3Ni3.1Cu39.3Al9.4 bulk metallic glass at elevated temperatures. ⺠In situ formed and pre-existed shear bands are found to be more susceptible to oxidation than the matrix. ⺠Crystallization improves the oxidation resistance significantlly.
