Abstract
⺠This article provide information about manufacturing Fe-Co-B type bulk amorphous and partially crystallized alloys with different Hf and Zr addition, obtained by suction casting method, their structure, magnetic and mechanical properties. ⺠Alloys with same atomic composition obtained in the form of plates with 0.5 mm thickness were amorphous, in contrary to rods with 1 mm diameter, which were partially crystallized. ⺠Best soft magnetic and some mechanical properties (microhardness) were obtained for amorphous alloys - plates with highest Zr content. ⺠It was also found that crystallized ingots of all the investigated materials have greater values of wear resistance than their amorphous equivalents.
