Abstract
â¶ Deposition of Pd-based coatings onto hydride forming alloys enhances hydrogenation. â¶ Pd-modified alloys exhibit fast hydrogenation after long-term exposure to air. â¶ Modification route strongly influences surface morphology and hydrogenation rate. â¶ Pd surface modification is especially efficient after aminosilane functionalization. â¶ Pd deposition after fluorination adds poisoning tolerance towards CO2 and CO.
