Abstract
ⶠMgH2-LiAlH4 and NaBH4-MgH2 hydride composites can be synthesized by ball milling. ⶠHydride compositing decreases desorption temperature of high temperature component. ⶠHydrogen desorption in the hydride composites involves two steps. ⶠThe thermodynamic destabilization can be an effect of solid solution formation. ⶠBoth phenomena catalytic influence and intermetallic phase formation can be observed.
