Abstract
ⶠCa(AlH4)2 can be synthesized by ball-milling NaH/Al and CaCl2 instead of NaAlH4 and CaCl2. ⶠIntroducing CeAl4 catalyst can accelerate the synthetic process of Ca(AlH4)2 and improve its dehydrogenation performance. ⶠThe CeAl4-doped Ca(AlH4)2 can desorb more than 5.5 wt.% hydrogen below 200 °C.
