Abstract
A new iron lead vanadate Pb2Fe2V4O15 forming in the system FeVO4–Pb2V2O7 has been synthesized. It crystallizes in the triclinic system and melts incongruently at 640 ± 5 °C. The IR spectrum and the SEM images of the new phase are presented. A phase diagram of the system FeVO4–Pb2V2O7 up to the solidus line has been constructed.
Research highlightsA new compound Pb2Fe2V4O15 has been synthesized. It's basic properties like powder diffraction pattern, crystal system, unit cell parameters, melting point and melting habit, IR spectrum and SEM image have been given.
