Abstract
▶ The grain size of AM60 alloy decreases with increasing quantity of Sn addition. ▶ Increasing in Sn concentration causes a rise in tensile strength, while decreasing the elongation of the alloy. ▶ The impact energy of AM60 alloy was increased by 0.5 wt% Sn containing alloy, and then the impact energy absorbing capacity was decreased with increasing Sn. ▶ The hardness value of AM60 alloy increased with increasing alloying element concentration.
