Abstract
The dielectric properties and microstructures of xLa(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O3-(1âx)SrTiO3 ceramics with B2O3 (0.25 wt%) prepared using the conventional solid-state route are investigated. Doping with B2O3 (0.25 wt%) increases the densification and the dielectric properties of xLa(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O3-(1âx)SrTiO3 ceramics. 0.55La(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O3-0.45SrTiO3 ceramics with 0.25% B2O3 sintered at 1475 °C for 4 h in air exhibited optimum microwave dielectric properties of Ér = 46.32, Q Ã f value of 34,000 (at 8 GHz), (Ïf) = â0.12 ppm/°C. The highest Q Ã f value of 45,000 (GHz) for x = 0.7 was achieved at the sintering temperature 1500 °C.
