Abstract
Recrystallization of zirconium-based alloys of HANA-4 (Zr-1.5Nb-0.4Sn-0.2Fe-0.1Cr) and HANA-6 (Zr-1.1Nb-0.05Cu) were investigated by measuring their micro-Vickers hardness and utilizing an optical microscopy as well as transmission electron microscopy. The alloys were melted and then hot-rolled and cold-rolled to strips. The recrystallization was observed at 400-600 °C for HANA-4, and at 400-550 °C for HANA-6, respectively. The behaviors of a recrystallization were analyzed using the JMAK equation and demonstrated as recrystallization maps.
