Abstract
The phase relations in the Cu–Zr–Y ternary system at 978 K have partly been studied by means of diffusion-triple and alloy-sampling, together with EPMA technique. The majority of tie-lines for two-phase equilibrium are drawn, and 8 tie-triangles for three-phase equilibrium are estimated. Based on them, the isothermal section of the Cu–Zr–Y ternary system at 978 K has been proposed. And the measured phase relations can be reproduced through extrapolation.
