Abstract
The liquidus and solidus surfaces of Al-Cr-Mn were determined between 60 and 100 at.% Al. Seven ternary reactions involving the liquid phase were revealed: two peritectic, one eutectic and four transition reactions. The lowest temperature of the liquid phase 657 °C corresponds to the ternary eutectic between (Al), η and θ. We also report on three solid-state four-phase transformations in this compositional range from 490 °C up to subsolidus temperatures.
