Abstract
The various experimental methods (EMF, solution and drop calorimetry) were used to determine the Gibbs energy, the enthalpy of formation and the heat contents of RE2BaCuO5 (RE = Gd, Dy). As a result of joint processing of experimental and literature data a set of self-consistent thermodynamic properties of Gd2BaCuO5 and Dy2BaCuO5 at 298-1273 K has been proposed.
