Abstract
Five rare-earth R5CoSb2 antimonides have been synthesized and characterized by means of X-ray powder diffraction data. The investigated ternary compounds crystallize with orthorhombic ordered substituted variant of the Yb5Sb3 structure type (space group Pnma, Pearson symbol oP32). Atomic and thermal parameters have been refined for all intermetallic phases.
