Abstract
0.35Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.65Pb(ZrxTi1âx)]O3 ceramics, where x = 0.43-0.53 (Zr/Ti ratio: 43/57-53/47, respectively), have been prepared by conventional method. The effect of the Zr/Ti ratio on the structure and dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric properties of the ceramics have been investigated. Experimental results indicated that with x = 0.47 (Zr/Ti = 47/53), the structure of the ceramics is pure perovskite, and optimal properties of ceramics were obtained. Dielectric constant É at 1 kHz at room temperature was 1600, the electromechanical coupling factor kp and piezoelectric coefficient d31 showed the peak value 0.60 and 151 Ã 10â12 C/N, respectively. The remanent polarization Pr and the coercive field EC were 24.48 μC/cm2 and 5.35 kV/cm, respectively.
