Abstract
Two new crystalline phases, one with a rhombohedral structure (hexagonal unit cell parameters: a = 0.540 nm and c = 2.910 nm) and the other with a monoclinic structure (a = 0.951 nm, b = 0.546 nm, c = 1.015 nm and β = 72°), are found in a slowly-cooled Zr-based metallic glass through detailed microstructure characterization.
