Abstract
Al2O3 short fiber reinforced Zn–Al alloy composites were fabricated with a squeeze casting process. The tensile strengths of the composites at elevated temperature were studied using autograph AG-10TA universal testing machines. The relationships between tensile strength, temperature, and fiber volume fraction were established employing a modified rule of mixture (ROM) model.
