Abstract
Samarium deficient SmMnO3 crystallizes in orthorhombic phase and it transforms to another orthorhombic phase at â¼743Â K. The above phase transformation was experimentally investigated by a variety of techniques like differential thermal analysis, dilatometry, high temperature X-ray diffraction and electrical conductivity measurements.
