Abstract
The hydrogen diffusion coefficient into the bulk of TiHg alloy was estimated as 1.24 × 10−13 cm2 s−1 from a chronoamperometry measurement and was compared with other materials. Finally, the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was used to further characterize this electrode. The results show that this electrode displayes porous behavior and may be well described by a serial combination of two parallel R-CPE circuit.
