Abstract
The phase equilibria in the CdGa2Se4-PbSe and CdGa2Se4-As2Se3 systems were investigated using differential-thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and metallography. Both systems are of the eutectic type. The coordinates of the eutectic point are â¼63Â mol% PbSe and 973Â K for the CdGa2Se4-PbSe system. The eutectic of the CdGa2Se4-As2Se3 system is degenerated towards As2Se3 with the eutectic temperature of 651Â K.
