Abstract
Magnetic properties enhancement effect in the Fe72Co10Nb6B12 amorphous alloy was examined. It was shown that 1 h annealing at 675 K causes a drastic increase of magnetic permeability and a reduction of coercive field. This effect was attributed to coagulation and annealing out of free volume. Activation enthalpy of the nanocrystallization was determined as 4.0 eV (DSC and magnetic balance experiments).
