Abstract
Rozenak et al. have studied the morphology of defects introduced into aluminium single crystals via hydrogen charging. They attributed the observed anisotropic intensity distribution in their SAXS patterns as being consistent with scattering from non-isometric ellipsoids lying on the {1Â 1Â 1} matrix planes. It is shown that it is highly likely that the streaks in their SAXS patterns can instead be attributed to Double Bragg Scattering.
