Abstract
An analytical method for the determination of the stress-strain fields in the vicinity of holes in multilayered composites has been developed which takes into consideration the influences of a finite outer boundary of the specimen. For the verification of the model and its implementation, experimental and numerical studies have been carried out. First approaches to combine the developed method as an analytical sub-model in combination with a global finite-element structural model are presented. Therefore different inhomogeneous load cases of anisotropic notched composite plates were investigated.
