Abstract
A novel self-assembled flower-like (Co(OH)2)/N-doped graphene composites were prepared using a facile sol-gel process, which shows a high specific capacitance (2276Â FÂ gâ1 at 1Â AÂ gâ1) and good capacitance retention rate (83% at 20Â AÂ gâ1). Moreover, only a 6.5% loss in specific capacitance was observed after more than 2000 cycles (at 10Â AÂ gâ1). These results suggested that the flowery Co(OH)2 with three-dimensional architectures on N-doped graphene leads to a synergistic performance, which results in enhanced electrochemical performance of the overall system.
