Abstract
Fe(III)-grafted Ag/Ag3PO4 nanoporous composites were synthesized by using NaH2PO2as the reductant and PO43â source while Fe(NO3)3 as the oxidant and Fe(III) source. Partially metallic Ag was oxidized to Ag+, and Fe(III) clusters was grafted onto the surface of Ag/Ag3PO4. Rhodamine B solution was used as the wastewater model to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of the samples. The enhanced light absorption and effective separation of photogenerated charges were the main reasons for the high photocatalytic performance of Fe(III)-grafted Ag/Ag3PO4 nanoporous composites.
