Abstract
In this paper, a facile method was used to prepare three-dimensional silicon nitride nanowire cloth. This method has the characteristic of naturally solidifying the solution composed of polyureasilazane, ferrocene and acetone in air, which reduces heat treatment procedures and facilitates powder process. The results show that the synthesized Si3N4NWs display perfect single crystal structure with few structure defects and their ultralong length (more than 2 mm) and intertwined structure endow them with a cloth-like feature. The as-received Si3N4NWs on upper and lower carbon papers all depend on SLGS growth mechanism, but follow different growth processes. Moreover, the as-received Si3N4NW cloth is flexible and massive to use, which is important in flexible batteries and supercapacitors in the future.
