Abstract
A study of Ag filament formation in resistive switching was carried out by pin probe contact on the surface of Ag doped AsS2. New switching algorithm, consisting of two different voltage steps, in parallel with the classical cyclic voltammetry was explored. The resulting Ag deposition on the AsS2 surface was observed by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Finally, the experiment results were explained by a model of “concentration-polarization” phenomena.
