Abstract
High-capacity Li2MnSiO4/C (LMS/C) nanoparticles doped with V3+ were prepared using sonochemistry under multibubble sonoluminescence (MBS) conditions, and the physical and electrochemical properties of the nanoparticles were characterized. The results showed that substituting Mn2+ with V3+ was effective in reducing the grain size, purifying the crystalline phase, and enhancing the electrochemical properties. In particular, 5 and 10Â mol% V3+-doped LMS/C exhibited diffusion coefficients of 5.58Ã10â14Â cm2Â sâ1 and 1.19Ã10â13Â cm2Â sâ1, respectively.
