Abstract
A novel microwave dielectric ceramic of BaZnP2O7 with low dielectric constant and high quality factor was synthesized by a solid-state reaction method. A dense ceramic with 96.9% relative density was obtained when the ceramic was sintered at 875 °C for 2 h. The BaZnP2O7 ceramic sintered at 875 °C for 2 h possessed good microwave dielectric properties, characterized as εr=8.4, QÃf=27,925 GHz (at 11.1 GHz), and Ïf=â56.7 ppm/°C.
