Abstract
A simple solution method was demonstrated to synthesis leaf-like hierarchical CuO nanosheets without using a surfactant/template at low temperature. An excellent UV light absorption capability was witnessed in a polymer film containing 0.2% of leaf-like CuO nanosheets with the maximum of 68%, under a UV lamp.
